Name Pros Forum

The majority of webmasters spend some decent amount of time at forums. After all, webmasters do gather where other webmasters hang out. There are quite a few forums out on the net, from niche forums for auto enthusiasts to wine lovers. And as most webmasters want to learn more about the business of doing business on the internet, learn more about seo for their websites, and want to grow their businesses, these webmasters gravitate to forums that are for and about webmasters. Today, I want to talk about one forum I believe all webmasters should be a member of and become active.

That forum is Name Pros and it is a huge forum with a growing membership every day of webmasters. It is at name pros that I (and a heck of a lot of other webmasters) am learning more each day about the domain industry. One section of name pros is all about domains, the domain industry, discussion about domains and where to park domains to make the most money, and how to program. Plus a great forum to get excellent reviews of your websites. The webmasters there are for the most part very experienced in web design and they can help any other webmaster create a better looking website.

Namepros forum is not some small, tightly cliqued forum. Not with over 104,000 members and with at any give time over 2500 of them online. With such a membership, again a new or experienced webmaster is bound to find help and the information they are looking for. There is even an active chat area where you can get some quick and good advice on just about any angle of webmastering or domaining.

I would say that if you are reading this, you are a webmaster. And as such you should be a member of Name Pros to enjoy the community of webmasters found there. Visit this forum soon and do become a member.

DevHunters Webmaster Forum

I have been going to this forum off and on for several months. Not to join, but because when I did searches for phpld templates, this forum showed up on searches. And I always found some great phpld templates on this forum. Truthfully, I never used any of them, but man, I loved the looks of all those templates I found on the forum. Probably if I had bought a license for the latest version of phpld, I would have grabbed one of the templates I found. Oh, in case you do not know what phpld is, it is probably the most used and most recognized web directory script on the net.

So today, I actually got a pm at digital point forums from the owner of DevHunters Webmaster Forum asking about my bidding directory. Well, I found out the next pm what his site was and when he told me he was going to bid his forum into my bidding directory, I was tickled. I complimented him on his forum and on his phpld templates. So I finally joined his forum as a member after those pm’s. And I like the forum the more I surfed around the various forums there and started reading some of the threads. Just as sure as I know you will want to join, be a member and get active on his forum.

DevHunters Webmaster Forum is as the name implies, an excellent forum for all webmasters, newbies and oldies like me. That is experience and time as a webmaster, not chronological age! Like all great forums on the net, it is powered by the very excellent and well known forum script, vBulletin. And the theme of this forum is way different and truthfully way better looking than just about any other forums. I am sure if I ask the owner, he will tell me that he coded that theme himself.

You will find that this forum is right to the point for webmasters, with a super forum category tree that I do not believe I have seen at other webmaster forums. For sure, you will not find useless threads about games, threads about shall we say the risque topics, nothing but forums that webmasters want and will use. Now, do you want to go to forums where the activity level is low, where it seems nobody is truly a webmaster, where no one can help with both the simple and the complex webmaster problems? Or do you want to go to an active forum, with real webmasters who will be happy to help other webmasters? Myself, I am a bit happy that I joined this forum and I want everyone of you to join soon. When you do, find me there with my standard and well known username of “iowadawg”. And yes, please let everyone there know that you joined based on my recommendation.
